BETWEEN SUSPICION AND REALITY: A FAMILY’S JOURNEY THROUGH LOSS AND HEALING.

Life sometimes places us in situations where suspicion becomes the lens through which we view our surroundings, compelling us to rely on uncertainty when making critical decisions. Instead of confronting the reality of the problem and seeking practical solutions, people often find themselves caught between difficult choices, unable to move forward clearly. Such circumstances frequently lead to costly and avoidable errors. Yet, at times, they provide emotional relief to those involved, offering a temporary sense of comfort. Whether this relief truly resolves the underlying issue remains uncertain. Consider this example: A family experienced an alarming series of deaths—ten members passing away within ten months, each about a month apart. The pattern was hard to accept, especially since all but one died following a brief illness. This raised deep suspicions that something beyond ordinary causes was at play. In search of answers, the family turned to a medium reputed to communicate with spirits, hoping to uncover the cause of these untimely deaths. After a formal consultation, the medium confirmed their fears: the deaths were not natural. He prescribed special sacrifices and a cleansing ritual to free the family from the curse of sudden death. The ritual, shrouded in mysterious incantations and esoteric acts, was performed on a designated day. Witnesses felt reassured, believing the spirit of premature death had been banished. For three years following the cleansing, the family saw no further untimely deaths, reinforcing their belief in the ritual’s power. However, four years later, a 45-year-old family member fell gravely ill and was hospitalized with kidney disease. Upon reviewing his medical history, the doctor discovered a genetic predisposition to kidney problems—a condition unknown to the family until then. This revelation explained many of the previous deaths. Today, the family enjoys a reprieve from sudden loss, with no deaths recorded for over two years. Whether this peace came from the spiritual intervention or the eventual embrace of medical understanding remains a mystery. What truly matters is that the family has finally found relief from the shadow of untimely death.
