In itself, alcohol is not inherently harmful when taken in moderation. The real danger lies in its misuse. This article explores why some individuals drink excessively and end up intoxicated. As the title suggests, we will examine this issue from two main perspectives: habit and genetics. From these angles, two important questions arise: 1. Some broken hearts can never mend. Identify such hearts and don't monkey with them. For some trivial reasons, certain men break their lover’s heart, believing they will escape any consequences. On Wednesday April 10, 2024, news  broke on several social media outlets especially Facebook and Instagram about the death of a Nigerian movie star John Paul Obumneme Odonwodo aka Junior Pope. Few hours later,  news broke again that he did not die. 'He's breathing!' chorused several social media outlets. Few days later, his death was confirmed. According to sources, Jnr Pope was in a speed boat on his way back from a movie shoot in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, when the boat collided with another boat in Anam river in Anambra State and four of the occupants including Jnr Pope drowned and died! Several hours after the accident, divers recovered all the bodies of the victims of the boat mishap. The primary purpose of sexual intercourse among humans and animals is procreation. For humans who wish to have children biologically, sexual intercourse is essential. Similarly, animals engage in it to reproduce their offspring. A secondary purpose, particularly among humans, is for pleasure or to relieve sexual tension. Whether animals also engage in sexual activity to reduce tension remains a subject of debate. In humans, sexual intercourse intended for procreation must occur during specific times—namely, when a woman is ovulating—to achieve conception. In animals, the female must be in heat to conceive. Instinctively, males recognize when females are in heat, and mating occurs during this period. A key difference between animals and humans in copulation is that animals can mate anywhere and at any time, provided the female is in heat. Life sometimes places us in situations where suspicion becomes the lens through which we view our surroundings, compelling us to rely on uncertainty when making critical decisions. Instead of confronting the reality of the problem and seeking practical solutions, people often find themselves caught between difficult choices, unable to move forward clearly. Such circumstances frequently lead to costly and avoidable errors. Yet, at times, they provide emotional relief to those involved, offering a temporary sense of comfort. Whether this relief truly resolves the underlying issue remains uncertain. Consider this example: A family experienced an alarming series of deaths—ten members passing away within ten months, each about a month apart. The pattern was hard to accept, especially since all but one died following a brief illness. This raised deep suspicions that something beyond ordinary causes was at play. Death is the ultimate price which every human must pay. Most of the time, it comes unannounced. At other times, it appears to give signs of it's arrival. Yet, no mortal has been able to accurately predict the actual time it would come to take it's victim. When death strikes in unfamiliar circumstances, the bereaved are  often left in bewilderment; they appear  powerless because they cannot change the situation, yet they question God and the gods for answers to the inevitability of death. If  you like, cry till eternity; death, which is like an autocratic government decides when to strike and who to strike on. 'Please, take heart', 'accept my condolences', ' may the soul of the departed rest in peace', etc, are some expressions to comfort the bereaved. If you've lost a dear one, pick any of the above sympathy expressions and stop crying, otherwise, you will be doing yourself more harm than the dead. 

Ordinarily, life for humans begins at conception; similarly, for animals, life also starts at conception. In contrast, for inorganic matter, life begins at the moment of creation. In this discussion, however, our focus will be on human life. To explore this topic clearly, let us first consider the meaning of the word "life." According to Google, life is defined as "the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death." If we accept this definition, why then do we often argue that life begins at a specific age different from the day a person is born? To deepen this perspective, let us examine the purpose of an individual’s existence. Does the Creator send humans into the world without a purpose?
